JOB DESCRIPTION
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
  • To conduct root cause analysis of aircraft technical problems/defects which may cause aircraft groundings and to initiate the remedial actions including the implementation of service bulletins and manufacturer/vendors recommendations.
  • To ensure that all required maintenance is carried out within specified timescales in the most cost effective manner and that technical dispatch reliability is constantly improved through a robust reliability programme.
  • Monitor the engine performance through EHM software and to conduct root cause analysis of engine problems and initiate the remedial actions.
  • Ensure technical support is provided for Maintenance and Operation teams to assure airworthiness and reliability of aircraft, engines, avionics and related equipment as appropriate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
  • Review OEMs and Vendors technical literature like SBs, SILs, AOT’s etc. including Airworthiness directives and issue the necessary Engineering Orders/Engineering Procedures.
  • Establish a system within technical services section to liaise with OEMs for guidance on issues like aircraft structural damages which are beyond scope of maintenance data supplied by manufacturer.
  • Ensure the daily operational follow up in relation to engineering research and strive for improvement of the aircraft reliability. Monitor the fleet reliability figures and follow – up or coordinate improvement programs.
  • Compile all SBs issued for the fleet every three months and conduct the mod committee meeting, prepare and circulate the meeting minutes.

  • Initiates amendment to Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) to include the tasks arising due to reliability program, repetitive AD’s/SB’s and Damage findings.
  • Generate Engineering orders as required for SB/AD Compliance and ensure that the timelines are maintained.
  • Maintain the fleet weight growth and advise revision of empty weight as required.
  • Prepare work scope for engine & propeller shop visits and preservation of engines.
  • Updating of the ECTM/EHM data to the online portal /software and initiate any follow up action as required and inform to MCC / Maintenance / Quality.
  • Provides Engine Condition Monitoring/EHM and advice Maintenance Planning of engine conditions that indicate a need for engine replacement.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Flight Dispatch Functions
  • The Executive is to ensure that all QO aircrafts are safely loaded/ Offloaded, load sheet are prepared on time, the documentation including the Load sheet, Dangerous Goods documents, loading instructions (LIR) are done as per the guidelines laid down by Ground Operations Manual and in compliance with DGCA and IATA regulations.
  • Perform flight Operations department functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
Ground Operations
  • Ensuring Cargo is accepted, screened, built up for the flight and delivered as per the laid down procedures.
  • Inspect incoming cargo and check the import/export documentation to determine cargo contents, identification of hidden or suspected DG.
  • Ensuring the load sheet is prepared as per the load and trim requirements of the W & B manual and the DGCA requirements.

  • Responsible for coordinating with OCC, GRD OPS, and Admin etc for coordinating aircraft maintenance with the aim of adhering the flight timing schedules and prompt aircraft turnaround times without delays.
  • Responsible for maximising the operational availability of the aircraft through close monitoring and scheduling of all maintenance requirements and defect rectification.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
  • Carry out the duties and responsibilities as under and also as may be specified by the Company from time to time.
  • Responsible for the coordination and supervision of aircraft maintenance activities with the CAR 145 contracted maintenance organization at the station level in order to achieve high reliability of the aircraft fleet.
  • Responsible for coordinating with OCC, GRD OPS, and the CAR 145 Maintenance Organisation etc for coordinating aircraft maintenance with the aim of adhering the flight timing schedules and prompt aircraft turnaround times without delays.
  • Responsible for maximising the operational availability of the aircraft through close monitoring and scheduling of all maintenance requirements and defect rectification.
  • Familiarize with OCC manual and procedures and proactively keep OCC always advised of the ground level realities in terms of aircraft readiness for on time departure.
  • Ensuring necessary tools, documentation, ground support equipment, spare parts and manpower are available at contracted maintenance organisation approved stations to support maintenance to an accepted maintenance standard.
  • Responsible for the maintenance work carried out on Quikjet fleet are documented and are entered in the maintenance software system.
  • Ensure updated maintenance data in respect of aircraft operated by Quikjet is available at the station.
  • Responsible to ensure that all open deferred defects are transferred on a real time basis into the maintenance software system and are in accordance with the CAME procedures and take necessary measures to rectify them within the permitted time.
  • Responsible to ensure that all spare orders are followed up for timely defect rectification.
  • Ensure that all completed maintenance documentation are despatched promptly to Technical Records Section.
  • Work closely with the Logistics and Ground Operations team for seam less availability of spares and support equipment’s for maintenance.
  • Monitor the ground utilisation of APU and GPU and ensure the same is kept to the lowest minimum. Maintain daily records for the same.
  • Monitor the man-hour and material utilisation of the contracted maintenance agency and provide daily report to CAM.
  • Closely work with MCC/OCC and the team at the airport during AOG recovery.
  • Act as a Technical Library representative at the station level, responsible for Management and up dation of the technical and on-board documentation at the station level.
  • Responsible for supervising the fuelling activities and uploading the fuel voucher datain the maintenance software.
  • Ensure that the aircrafts are always kept clean internally and externally.
  • Responsible for liaising with other operators and maintenance providers at the station level for maintenance and spare parts support as and when required.

  • Experience of registration of deeds with Registrar office and in dealing with vendors for admin activities and travel.
  • In charge of inventory control of stationery, paper (check and stock), sundries (check and stock) and issuing of purchase requisitions.
  • Proactive maintenance of Electrical & UPS systems.
  • Regular supervision on security & housekeeping.
  • To manage petty cash, filing & updating of bills.
